Streaming made easy!

Just signed up for Restream and it's wonderful! It was very easy to accomplish what we wanted for our organization. Streaming to multiple places at the same time and seamlessly was a snap. Customer support was very fast and extremely helpful.

I practiced 3 or 4 times by streaming to a "test" group in Facebook that has zero people in it. I am so glad I did because I needed to get comfortable with clicking in certain places and making sure things looked the way I wanted. I love that I can add an overlay and toggle between one with my topic and one with a Call to Action to visit my website. It really does add a polished layer of professionalism and I will be using this a lot.

Makes livestream shows so easy!

I love this app! I've been looking for a way to host a show through Facebook groups (not pages) and through my LinkedIn profile (not company page), and my YouTube channel and restream makes it so easy. The fact that I can link it once, and then go live multiple times is a godsend! I've been trlling everyone.

Great platform for a self-produced show. I have my intro/outro video loaded all the time - just a click. I can chat with my viewers from Youtube and Facebook in one place. The video quality is very good. If you hit a snag, the chat support is above and beyond helpful. I've been more than happy the past four years.

Human Support from a Tech company? a Happy Surprise

I'm not even a paying user of their platform and they gave live on-demand support with an actual person. This is unheard of in tech. I literally have only a few bots following me - these guys are serious about their company. BIG credibility boost. (btw they were helping set up a DIFFERENT company's service)

Setting up each stream took a bit of effort the very first time (as it should). After that initial effort, starting a multi stream broadcast is as easy as clicking “start”! Love how easy it is to use Restream.io. Thanks!

Using Restream.io increases productivity!

Using Restream.io has helped make my Live Streams seamless. It is extremely helpful to have my Stream go to multiple channels at once, while also having a Live Chat from all of them. Also I love being able to change the Stream Titles for ALL of my Streams on my OBS.

Great service for any level streamer

Great service, especially for anyone just getting started with streaming, where multi-channel support is key which only makes sense. It’s designed for out of the box use and it’s almost that. I ran into a couple of issues: 1. Video output bitrate being was too high for Twitch which made me appear offline; 2. Chat inputs from Twitch and YouTube would not display on Restream chat when I tested them using different profiles. Oddly enough a spam chat items got through via YouTube which I’ve never gotten until I started on Restream (not sure if that’s a customer data vulnerability). Great feature though to be able to block/interact directly (on behalf of your YouTube account) within Restream chat. In both instances, I had to search for solutions which I found outside of Restream. I also don’t know how to get to the chat from home, so I have to Google to get to its landing page and then select browser chat window over desktop app (on my phone which is my second screen). It’s also hard to get to the broadcast page.

Great

Great: better price than what I was paying elsewhere, more features to use like the various background music selections, countdown timers, scrolling marquee, and ease of prescheduling a live stream. We also liked the stream performance email immediately following the stream. Cons: in the playback video stored on Restream and on YouTube, there are frame drops, so the video feed stalls every few moments. It almost appears to coordinate with when I click on viewer comments to display them on the screen. The post-stream performance email indicated no lost frames but that is not the case, though it is an improvement over the other company we used previously. Otherwise, this was a vast improvement in streaming performance over what we were previously getting elsewhere.

The program is pretty good overall

The program is pretty good overall. It is pricey, however. I'm disappointed that we can only use a background with the laptop or desktop. The background feature doesn't work with phones and tablets. Periodically, setting up an external mic for live streams through Safari on iPad can get glitchy and people cannot hear you. I've had to simply disconnect the mic. Many of the channels on which you can multistream are platforms most people do not use, so it's overkill for the price. You can't stream to IG,certain LinkedIn free accounts, or Tictoc (obviously). You don't need an app for Restream and it runs directly from a website. This is a great plus for several reasons. The learning curve is short and and the ease of use great. I an pleased with Restream but wish they would add more backgrounds, overlays, and graphics to give us more professional looks and greater variety. Of note, if you're techno savvy, you may download your own.

This is the best streaming platform…

This is the best streaming platform there is. Trust me I stream 2-3 times a week and have tried multiple platforms. The studio and obs is second to none and is a very clean set up. I will give it 5 stars when it has browser source to overlay chat on screen not in ac separate windows. No one really has mastered this yet so I don’t blame them.

Good value for price

Good value for price. Some hiccups with the website that prevents me to 5/5 rate - the site needs to be refreshed from time to time to prevent screen lockout, therefore not being able to lookup the stream on the second screen. Apart from that and a bit tricky discord bot management - all good.

I really do like Restream a lot more…

I really do like Restream a lot more than Zoom because of how clear it is. There are also a lot more options than with Zoom. The only reason that I have given it 4 stars would be for the following two things. The first most important reason is that people have trouble connecting to the stream. They usually have to try three or four times first before they can get connected. The second is that there is no way to lock a meeting so that uninvited people can't hack their way in.

It's so easy to figure out

It's so easy to figure out quickly get using it. For the first time, I'm streaming to all my platforms at once and when I do interviews, it's sooo easy for the guest to click a link and viola. My only issue is having it say Facebook user instead of the person's name. Otherwise it's been great.

Multi streaming is great but missing some game titles

Streaming to multiple platforms without loss of data is great. Adding more game selections to the list would make it even better. I play War Thunder and have to manually go into my social media platform and add it after the stream starts. Since I'm paying for more than 2 streams I hope this helps to make it happen.

Works really well, but makes OBS bug?

Works really well, I use it to stream to both YT and Twtich. Only suboptimal experience is I've gotten some weird bugs after connecting it to my OBS software (such as the on-stream chat not updating, chat settings not working properly, etc.) I'm not sure how much of this is Restream and how much is OBS, or the fact that I work on a Linux instead of a Windows. All in all, I managed to get around the bugs pretty easily, and had a great time!

We migrated our Podcast to a LinkedIn…

We migrated our Podcast to a LinkedIn Live format and initially tried OBS, which did not go well. We then switched to Restream and Restream Studio, and everything has been smooth ever since! I love the ability to stream to Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, etc., simultaneously.

Things to improve ... More stream settings to adjust especially on YouTube , like turn on ads which is important. Secondly, the Restream Chat needs improvement like showing the Membership (paid status) next to their name , like how it shows on YouTube chat or even to show "Member" next to his name in the chat, for example John Luke "member" says... I like your stream . Btw 4 stars and in general Restream is great and helps the streamers alot. Thank you

Restream is fairly easy to use

The interface is fairly easy to navigate, and getting set up to stream to multiple platforms was fairly easy. The combined chat display on the dashboard is helpful in keeping track with what is going on with each platform's chat.

wishing for one more admin spot - basic level comes with 2, next level offers 4. I need 3. Cannot take the $$ leap to the next level yet. Otherwise, the platform is really good. Often a considerable lag to youtube but we are working around that.

I have been doing Facebook live since…April 2020

I have been doing Facebook live since 2020 and have streamed with OBS and other tools but it was not until I found restroom that I had a glitch-free experience and it is getting better. It would be perfect but I have not mastered all the awesome aspects of this service.

Things could be added

For the most part it's been great to use. Just a few things I wish could be changed or added to the settings. Like if streaming to multiple platforms with with the chat we could select the ones we actually want displayed. As in I always have my Twitch on a separate window in OBS as that's my main platform I stream to and I wish restream I could turn Twitch chat off (or even individual turning on or off of any of them) and only show my FB & YouTube that way I wouldn't miss anyone chatting with those. Thry get lost in my Twitch even tho they are marked with the symbols for FB & YT. Then there's the issue of separating the audio. Restream doesn't have that, so everything with my sounds are on my VOD. That is the main reason I'm going to cancel my paid subscription with it.

Good Product, but with a little work on customer etiquette

Restream is a great product, and very advantageous in the way the world is going with online content. The platform speaks for itself and is the leader currently in online webinar software. Although the product is great, Initially I had a very bad experience with sales team, false statements, rudeness and lack of care of customer was felt. After leaving a negative review and attempting to contact senior support, I was able to finally get in contact with someone who was great. I received a formal apology and other benefits as courtesy. It's been mentioned that they will take on thoughts from what I shared to improve service in the future.

Pros and cons

Pros I love the layout, the screen selection. The QR codes are brilliant so now people watching my live stream can buy my products while I’m live streaming your vertical screen and sharing other screens not so good actually it’s bad. I also stream to multiple platforms and once you get up and running, it’s OK but there’s a lot of touching go in the beginning of the stream lotta glitching and stuff like that so hopefully helps out. Can’t wait to see other features and improvement that you guys make a really like you guys overall

the service itself is good but it's expensive and not useful enough compared to the price i had trouble streaming to Twitter (X) / Instagram / kick the only services that worked fine were YouTube and Twitch edit: after reaching out to support they explained some technical stuff and etc, but it is still pricy for how limited the features are

I like the fact that I can send to 1…

I like the fact that I can send to 1 location and have it distributed to multiple locations. Would have given it 5 stars EXCEPT for the problem that the web interface never showed that YouTube was "live" and Facebook never got a feed that I ever found. Could be my issue, but once I start, I didn't want to stop the feed to troubleshoot.

Pretty good, except...

Pretty good, except... I use obs to stream to youtube and rumble and when I click "Update Titles" it used to update both youtube and rumble title and descriptions and what not, but now it only does the youtube one. Plus there's no way to upload a thumbnail for rumble, or add tags, or do categories.

You can do better

You can do better! Enhance the platform (Studio) to remember cameras, camera settings and audio settings so they don't have to be re-setup each time. Also, you have a big opportunity for built-in scene switching, a feature which OBS doesn't have. You're off to a good start but there's a lot of untapped potential...release some of those features and it will surely elevate your product to the next level!

I have been using restream on the free version now for about 1/2 a year now for streaming fortnite and apex legends and its great, but the one thing im a bit anoyed a bout is, is that it only streams on 30 fps on the free version and i dont really want to pay $41 a month for pro. So could you please make the free version stream at 720p 60fps.

Minha não foi 100 % mais é um ótimo app, minha questão no caso do tiktok, que não dar um conexão nada agradável, para sicronizar a conexão e transmitir como terceiros, poderiam também colocar os link de mensagens da live, porque você só disponibilizam as conexão da live, mais não o chat da live, outra coisa também, que não são todos que vão te atender na parte do suporte, com o idioma português. Terribly complicated to set up and use…

Terribly complicated to set up and use on LinkedIn. Totally bombed. Half the people never got the stream and only saw a waiting room in a pre-live state. The other half somehow got the stream and passed the link around in the chat. Comments were showing up in both places. After the event, a recording was available, but in a weird LinkedIn "event container" with a big "event canceled" banner on it. Totally confusing and broken.

Many many streaming stucks, servers have many many streams and in high hours nothing works fine. Its very expensive without web player in low cost plans. I had working this service with ndi cameras for 3 years, today restream have many streamings accounts with many streaming problems.

Dislike the software you said it free as it comes with 2 stream platform and can allow up to 3 people share screen and it say it comes with the command free and there not free you want me to paid I don't do business that lies about there products and the login function never works half of the time then it never connects to twitch as it keeps saying network error non stop and there nothing wrong on my end your software is garbage hell I rather use one studio than your platform.

No customer support

They don't have any customer support to handle issues. The chat is useless and they leave you frustrated without any resolve to getting your billing fixed (they've been charging me twice a month) and help with streaming issues.

If I could give Restream a half a star, I would. The product, itself, is a great product. Thats IF IT WORKS!! One day, Im streaming to multiple platforms, the next day it doesnt work. I contacted them only to have their reps respond to me as if I was stupid. They placed the blame on me when I didn't add any type of protections to my computer after purchasing a year subscription to Restream. So, I was only able to use my year subscription for 4 months. I HIGHLY ADVISE anyone who's looking to purchase Restream to think twice because if you run into a problem, they will put the blame on you and will do nothing to rectify the issue! On top of that, my year subscription that I purchased in July of 2025 is set to automatically renew (According to their most recent email). It doesn't have a place I cancel it or anything. Restream is looking more and more like a scam to take your money than it is to keep you streaming! BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Have been streaming for years using restream, for the first time they have added a pumpkin icon where our assets are - preloaded videos and images are, now I guessed where it was, but for those on the team who may not be able to discern it clearly - this was a problem, the platform had especial glitches today, freezing when the livestream was inadvertently ended and not reverting to the Orange/Red 'Go Live now', so we would know it had stopped streaming. Please keep the platform professional with consistent icons, it is not necessary to make the functional icons seasonal. We have seen the Christmas overlays last year, thank you. However some users like ourselves are using restream for corporate purposes in a team setting.

I used them everyday for more than one year and I know much about restream.io. It seems they have much traffic from the UK that it take for ever to let you sign in to the service. We stream from different countries including in europe and I noticed the login issue only from inside the UK. Platform always miss things up, Chat integration will not work. video will not start, user syncing issues. Logo appears to you but not in youtube and loads of other problems. Their customer service are quite fast and nice unless it's a core problem then that act like novice and do time wasting tactics so you'll give up before they admit the problem. They'll ask for endless number of reports and snaps just so tire you because they know about the issue and have no way to resolve it. In general they are good but very unstable. and for the PR who will reposnd to this asking me to speak to them for solutions, I already did and willing to have a chat to demostrate all issues I suffer from. Please don't respond with the same template. find my phone number from your platform and give me a ring.

The service is fine when it works

The service is fine when it works, but as others have mentioned, their customer service is terrible. Their knee jerk response is to blame the customer for everything. We were able to prove multiple dropouts from the server and the customer service agent became defensive. They have a major hangup about admitting fault and will go to ridiculous lengths to do it. You can also see this in their responses to reviews - note use of soft language such as "We are sorry you FEEL..." "We can UNDERSTAND how that MIGHT be FRUSTRATING..." All very careful language designed to deflect blame with a patronizing tone. They do this with large broadcast entities, too. The company seems to be staffed by 22 year olds whose parents never told them no, as they cannot handle being corrected. They then try and use "handling" techniques. If you tell them that it isn't up for discussion they will send emails at all hours of the night arguing hoping you will just give up. This is a technique and is taught. My advice: don't give these kids what they want. Push the issue, it is the only way they'll learn. Notice how all the responses are patronizing - they are counting on you to get angry so they can more easily point the finger at you. I am sure they will put a similar soft patronizing response to this review - they don't ever read what is said as they are too busy arguing that they are right when they aren't. :-) Eventually there will be a competitive service to Restream. When that happens, Restream will either have to adapt or they will go out of business. (I am sure that Restream will say "We don't have a customer with that name..." - using a friend's FB account as I don't use social media and they are fine with it.)

Predatory business, HORRIBLE support

Yes, 100% agree with the other negagtive comments. PREDATORY business practice, The most unprofessional and condescending 'support' chat I've ever had. I used to be a GREAT fan of restream until I started PAYING them money, and then had to deal with their support team. They wasted SO much of my time, Were constantly talking down to me, NEVER addressed any of my problems. So within TWO conversations with the support team, They managed to turn me from a FAN - who recommended Restream to all his friends to now a rather ANGRY ex-customer.

They need new developers!!

Honestly, this review is not because Restream sucks as software. I really enjoy using it. Helpdesk is also very quick with responding. The reason for the one star is because I addressed a problem for MONTHS now: Short subtitles are not working properly and make your shorts look like you are unprofessional because they won't align properly. This sounds like an easy problem to fix, yet they fail to do this. If I knew a competitor that did the same things I would leave Restream just because this one problem for sure. One star review in the hope this gets attention. I will delete it when it get fixed.

Tech guy on vacation... I wish i was a tech guy at restream...

I had an issue with connecting daily motion for an event created on restream and I feel I had to contact the customer support 10 times, and they were always asking me same questions, then they said the tech guy was on vacation. I pay 40 USD per month to have something that doesn't work, that is 480 USD for a service for which the tech guy is on vacation... not cool. I'm tired, I am a creative, I use restream to restream my content and I pay for it to work. I don't have time to try to figure out what are the issues between the tech guy on vacation and the customer support who keeps asking me same questions without fixing the issue. If you advertise a service that is supposed to broadcast everywhere, you need to be a little more clear about what you offer an make it work. You may want to warn the clients that the client will often have a lot of trouble to make it work : not because the client is stupid but simply because the service was not designed properly. If the tech guy is on vacation, then you need a replacement, I work 365 days a year and I don't have time for vacation. My business is everything and all these tech people who are not able to make things work are really really annoying me. If I provided that kind of quality of service to my clients, I would have a horrible reputation. Make it work or don't advertise something that does not work. Thanks

I found it to be a horrible platform Service. Had to pay $500.00 upfront for a full year. Kept it for only 2 months because streaming our services with RESTREAM had many ‘hiccups’ and problems. We had better streaming without it!! It was so bad I cancelled the service after only 2 months! I purchased a year subscription to Restream in July 2025! In October, the product STOPPED WORKING! When I tried to resolve this issue, restream treated me as if it was MY COMPUTER that was the issue! Even when I logged on to restream on my laptop, it had the same issues. I told them that and they continued to blame me and my internet connection! They refused to give me my money back! I would NOT reccomend this product to ANYONE! The customer service is extremely BAD and they will make you feel like the idiot when its their product that is faulty!

Poor Customer Service and Policy

It's pretty dumb that this company doesn't have a refund policy regarding the automatic charge. I have been charged today with the last money that I have and they do not want to refund it because I forgot to cancel the subscription. They should have at least have a 3 days refund policy when it comes to automatic charges like this because there are people who really need their money and there are times that people forget what subscriptions they have on other websites. Their Customer Services turnaround time regarding escalations is pretty poor. 1-2 days? really? You have a live chat available 24/7 and there's no one to supervise regarding escalation? I have a chat active with the agent named "Cray" and it looks like he's ignoring my messages. I know how the Crisp live chat works and I know Multiple agents can see my chat and no one is responding. Is that how you treat your customers? I do not recommend this company to anyone who likes to go live on multiple platforms.

Instead of giving my money back, they offered me “Restream credit” to use in the future… Why would I want credit for a service I already canceled? This is a shady practice: most subscription-based platforms offer same-day refunds. Stripe allows it. So do Netflix, Spotify, and others. But Restream hides behind a restrictive refund policy buried in fine print, and then tries to patch it up with useless internal credits. If you're considering signing up—think twice. If anything goes wrong, you’ll be stuck. And worse, they make it seem like everything’s handled, only to tell you later: “No refund for you.” This isn’t just about money. It’s about transparency, ethics, and respecting your customers. Very disappointing experience. Never using them again.

Probably the most useless service our company has ever used. All of a sudden (as fully paying customer 49 dollars a month for professional) all feaures dissappeared as we where about to send with external guests. Pathetic Experience - Do not go with them!

I had a pathetic experience with Restream. I purchased their standard plan for the full year and started facing issues and tried to post them to their support agents who did not resolve in the right way (pathetic support experience). Finally after 4 months I requested for a prorated refund which they denied. I will advise users not to go with Restream or atleast be on their monthly plan and not go for annual plan.

On Monday, October 25th, I was a guest on a show that uses this service. On Friday, I received an invoice from restream in the amount of $49.00 this was unauthorized, Iam not a customer. Thus is fraudulent activity which I'm reporting to the BBB and need be to the appropriate law.

Their customer service is very unsupportive and their business model is very predatory. I got the service. It did not work for me and they claimed it wasn’t an issue in their end but on mine, okay fine I’ll just cancel I’ll take the one month payment as a loss. But they KEPT CHARGING ME. They refused to give me a refund and I can’t take my debit card off of their platform. I have had to resort to disputing the purchase in order to get my money back. I would never use this service again.

WARNING #2: I tried to cancel my subscription, but my card was charged again the next month. Untransparent cancellation process. Contacted billing support to try to amicably solve the issue as I did not log into my account AT ALL during the "subscription" period, but was told it was a non-refundable charge. Dishonest business. You can message the customer service from your site as there is hno message box then Google chrome wont stream your videos they stick all the time, so they tell y0u to use Fire fox which has no viewer count and now its had a bug on it apparently all week. No one fixes anything and you go back week after week with the same issues. Surely there is a better streaing provider????
